Thanks to some assholes I work with, my time on the intrawebs will be minimal. I will try my best to keep posting at night and reading everyone's blogs.

Major Announcement for Quiet on the Set!

Quiet on the Set! and Lonewolf Productions proudly bring you a new series podcast geared towards new artists. Our first show will air March 5th at 8 pm.

This series of podcasts will be dedicated to you, the new Indie artist. We will have seasoned artists explain to you their background, do's and dont's of the trade, the pitfalls they incurred and the triumphs as well. This will be a hour long podcast filled with useful information as well as big name guests.

One of our first guests being scheduled will be country artist Gary Helms! "From the hotspots of east Texas and southwest Louisiana to the traditional toe-tapping dance-halls of central and west Texas, Gary Helms has played to standing room only audiences and kept them screaming for more. Few artists have made such and impact on the Texas country music scene. Nonstop touring and professionalism have made him one of the most in demand country artist in Texas.

Gary was launched into the International spotlight in 1993 when a song "Rainy Night In Texas" became a fan favorite in Europe. He also started getting air play at many Texas radio stations as well with "Rainy Night In Texas" and "Daddy don't leave" both songs he penned himself along with co-writer Jim Rowland of (TBG) Texas Black Gold. Gary currently has songs on the radio in Belgium, Germany, France and the good ole... USA."

Another guest is Larry Rust. "Larry Rust was Keyboardist/Vocalist for Classic Rock Legend "Iron Butterfly" 1999-2005. Larry Rust is now a solo artist, writing and producing his music and producing CD's for other artists. Larry is also involved in a new Reality Show" in production "Music Management" from Siloh Moses & Get Focused Management. Coming soon to a TV network near you...."

And we are also scheduling country artist George Ducas! "Willie Nelson's 'Red Headed Stranger' album was my best friend," recalls Texas singer/songwriter George Ducas. Throughout his career, Ducas has been influenced by a wide range of musical genres, from Willie Nelson and Buck Owens to the Rolling Stones and John Lee Hooker. He began writing and performing songs at the age of 12 and has now become one of Nashville most treasured singer/songwriters.

Ducas has enjoyed consistent success both as a country music artist and as a songwriter. He released two records on the Capitol Records label, and his self-titled debut in 1995 received high critical acclaim. After charting a Top 20 hit with the first single, "Teardrops", Ducas arrived as both a national and international country artist with the Top 5 hit, "Lipstick Promises". Ducas has toured extensively, headlining and opening shows for many country artists including Alan Jackson, Toby Keith, Diamond Rio, and Faith Hill."

So keep checking back for more updates!

Friday Funnies

I recently had to choose a new primary care physician. After two visits and exhaustive lab tests, he said I was doing "fairly well" for my age.

A little concerned about that comment, I couldn't resist asking him, "Do you think I will live to be 80?" He asked: Do you smoke tobacco or drink alcoholic beverages?" "Oh no," I replied. "I don't do drugs, either."

"Do you have many friends and entertain frequently?" "I said, "No, I usually stay home and keep to myself". "Do you eat rib-eye steaks and barbecued ribs?" I said, "No, my other doctor said that all red meat is unhealthy!"

"Do you spend a lot of time in the sun, like playing golf, sailing, hiking, or bicycling?" "No, I don't," I said. "Do you gamble, drive fast cars, or have a lot of sex?"

"No," I said. "I don't do any of those things."

He looked at me and said, "Then why do you give a shit?

What's Dazd been Doing?!?!?!?!

Ok...I realize I've neglected my 4 or 5 loyal readers. The last 2 weeks have been a whirlwind to put it mildly.

I am now the Lonewolf Productions Inc. Indiana representative for artist promotion.

Quiet on the Set! is officially partnered with Lonewolf Productions Inc. for a second night of Quiet on the Set! We will be airing two nights a week on Tuesday and Wednesday starting March 4th.

I'm hoping to also manage a couple of up and coming artists/bands here in Indiana.

Talking about doing a charity concert here in Indiana to help fight cancer.

I've been charged with new website development for Lonewolf Productions and any signed artist wanting a website. (Contracting that out!)

Hopefully in 6-8 months I can leave my crappy job!

***thud..... passes out***
