Environment and Development in 2002, and to embark on the required
reduction in emissions of greenhouse gases.

(The United States (U.S.), although a signatory to the Kyoto Protocol, has neither ratified nor withdrawn from the Protocol. The signature alone is symbolic, as the Kyoto Protocol is non-binding on the United States unless ratified.)

Do you realize that the United States, as of 2006, carries 22% of the funding for the United Nations? And they want more monies to exercise these programs!

My Birthday Post

I couldn't think of an appropriate post, so I'll post a laugh!

AMAZING SIMPLE HOME REMEDIES

1. Avoid cutting yourself slicing vegetables by getting someone else to hold
while you chop.

2. Avoid arguments with the Mrs. about lifting the toilet seat by using the
shower. **My Favorite**

3. For high blood pressure sufferers: simply cut yourself and bleed for a few
minutes, thus reducing the pressure in your veins. Remember to use a timer. **Also My Favorite**

4. A mouse trap, placed on top of your alarm clock, will prevent you From
rolling over and going back to sleep after you hit the snooze button.

5. If you have a bad cough , take a large dose of laxatives, then you will be
afraid to cough.

6. You only need two tools in life - WD-40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and
should, use the WD-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.

7. Remember: Everyone seems normal until you get to know them.

Daily Thought:
SOME PEOPLE ARE LIKE SLINKYS. NOT REALLY GOOD FOR ANYTHING BUT THEY BRING A SMILE TO YOUR FACE WHEN PUSHED DOWN THE STAIRS.

Where is Dazd?

Dawn at So A Blonde Walks Into a Blog asked on my last post what my show was all about. First inclination was to reply, "Ummm...listen to the show." But that wouldn't have been very nice of me. So I've included a synopsis of my show.

We promote and interview todays best Indie entertainers. We cover all aspects of the entertainment industry. We interview authors, actors, musicians, comedians and people behind the scenes. We diversify our guests so we don't get stuck into a mold. We make each show interesting and full of information. And we offer this opportunity free of charge to both the entertainer and our audience. FREE is the best promotional tool available!

Quiet on the Set also provides management services on a very limited basis. Although our management pool is full we won't turn you away but rather assist in finding you the services you desire. Quiet on the Set has a dream of becoming a leader in all services within the ever growing Indie music industry.

So I currently have 5 bands that I'm either managing, booking, promoting or all of the above.

Ruined for Life
Big Red and the Soul Benders
The Eloquent Falling
Punch to the Face
The Will Woodrow Project

This concludes my plate for management. I cannot take on anymore...there's just so much time in a day and of me to go around.

PLUS...working a full time job!

And then I took on a project that will hopefully open more doorways into my dream of hosting a live radio show.

This gentleman does a daily broadcast on American Country Radio Network featuring the talented and lovely Ladies of Country Music. This show is a syndicated show and is broadcast all over the world. You can listen here and find the archives. So Jerry emails me Friday afternoon and asked me to be apart of his 50th episode celebration. It'll consist of a marathon playing all 50 of his episodes both Saturday and Sunday August 9/10th.

Here's where I come into the scene...Jerry does all his shows prerecorded much like a radio show. He just plays music and what not. Well, American Country Radio Network that carries his shows wants interviews with some of his previous guests. So Jerry asked me to do prerecorded interviews with 25-30 of his previous guests. Well of course I said yes!!! My interviews are live with no editing. What you hear is what you get.

Plus he's agreed to play the promo clip a friend put together for Quiet on the Set for the 15 shows prior to his 50th celebration. How cool is that? Nothing like promotional clips across a syndicated network.

So every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday until July 28th I'll be conducting 6-7 interviews a night. That's on top of my regular shows AND trying to manage/book/promote the above listed bands.

Am I crazy...well the missus says I'm not right in the head. Am I having fun? Hell Yes!! Am I tired and exhausted by weekends end? Hell Yes!!! Is this all worth it? Hell Yes!!!

So make sure to check out the American Country Radio Network. Make sure to bookmark the site and listen to all of the great shows they offer. And listen to the Ladies of Country Music marathon August 9th and 10th!!! You'll hear some great music and the 25-30 interviews I am recording. Who knows, maybe one day you'll see my name up there! Then you can say, "I knew him when...".
