Tuesday night was one heck of a ride. Where I live, we were under a Tornado Warning one hour and snow/sleet/freezing rain the next hour. There are confirmed reports of a tornado northwest of me rated as an EF1. January 29?!?!?! Global warming? HA!

Oh did I mention more snow is coming? Yea...damn forecasters can't make up their minds. Last night it was 6-8 inches. Now today its 5-10 inches. I want a job where I can guess at the answers and be right 50% of the time.

I'm deeply engrossed in promoting my podcast. I know I've neglected my blog but I try to visit all my friends here daily. No one goes more than 24 hours without a visit from yours truly. If you want to listen to the previous shows, you can now download them by clicking the banner.

James started his career in stand up 15 years ago. He did his time in purgatory, aka "open mic nights," before landing a gig as an emcee for Comedy Caravan in the South East in 1994. He is currently promoting his "Going Deeper" comeback tour.

Two ladies talking in heaven:

1st woman : Hi! My name is Wanda.

2nd woman : Hi! I'm Kelly. How'd you die?

1st woman : I Froze to Death.

2nd woman : How Horrible!

1st woman: It wasn't so bad. After I quit shaking from the cold, I
began to get warm & sleepy, and finally died a peaceful death. What about
you?

2nd woman : I died of a massive heart attack. I suspected that my
husband was cheating, so I came home early to catch him in the act. But
instead, I found him all by himself in the den watching TV.

1st woman: So, what happened?

2nd woman : I was so sure there was another woman there somewhere that I
started running all over the house looking. I ran up into the attic and
searched, and down into the basement. Then I went through every closet and
checked under all the beds. I kept this up until I had looked everywhere,
and finally I became so exhausted that I just keeled over with a heart
attack and died.

1st woman : Too bad you didn't look in the freezer---we'd both still be
alive.

There are moments in life that we find ourselves at a crossroad. The choices we make define us and build the foundation of our future. Lost and afraid, most of us would choose to remain firmly planted, a comfort zone where everything is predictable. Once in a while, some people push beyond the pain of sacrifice and going it alone. Somewhere beyond the quiet persistence of a dream lies the bravery and courage it takes. The bravery and courage needed to follow your dreams. And it's only when you're tested that you discover who you can be. The person you want to be does exist, somewhere on the other side of hard work, faith and belief; beyond heartache of failure and the fanfare of triumph.

Dazd acknowledges these sacrifices and commendable traits within my fellow bloggers. I would like each and every one of you to follow your dreams and hopefully live life happily thereafter. It's okay to let yourself be happy because you never know how fleeting that moment of happiness might be. I know this all too well. This blog has given me the bravery and courage to branch out into unknown territories with co-hosting several shows and starting a new show myself. I've also met new friends face-to-face that 3 years ago, I wouldn't have even dared to attend let alone plan such an event. It's because of your continued support that I've evolved into the person I am today.

If you can hold a thought, just a simple thought, for 17 seconds, without contradicting it, another thought like it same shape, same size, same vibration, same tone, by law of attraction another thought like it will come to it. And at precisely the 17 second point, these two thoughts will join one another, they coalesce and when they do that there is an energy that is expended, it is like a combustion point. And when these two thoughts join and combust, you can feel a measure of enthusiasm or interest bubbling within you. And in that moment of 17 seconds, these two thoughts that were same become one bigger,more evolved, faster vibrating thought.

Now, if you can stay focused on this subject that you have chosen for another 17 seconds, at the moment that you cross the 34 second mark that is just two times 17 this now more evolved thought will attract unto it and - in other words, the thoughts attract each other. Your thought draws another and the other thought draws it, thoughts that are same in nature come together. And at the 34 second mark these two more evolved thoughts do the same thing, they coalesce and there is another combustion point. At that point, these two thoughts become one, higher and faster in vibration.

If you can maintain you attention to that now more evolved thought, at the 51 second mark which is just 3 times 17 there is another coalescing, another joining of thought and another combustion point. If you can hold that more evolved thought for another 17 seconds, the same thing happens and when you cross the 68 second mark, you have a combustion big enough to affect physical manifestation.

Our premiere show went very well last night. Ghaniya was a superb guest and we had an amazing turnout. The numbers aren't completely posted yet but it looks like we had 30+ live listeners/chatters. There were numerous technical difficulties on the hosts side. Mainly they completely changed the formats and were still trying to work out the bugs. Our chatroom kept booting people and froze on me completely. But I am happy to report the show was archived successfully and is available for download.
